Ms Marie-Therese Hill B.A (Hons), PGCE, M.A, Cert ADDS
Marie-Therese is a diagnostic specialist tutor working with adults with dyslexia. She is a qualified tutor and psychologist with extensive experience of education delivery at all levels and ages. Marie-Therese now specialises in working with adults to improve their numeracy and literacy skills. She has previously worked for over 20 years with Host UK which enables adult international students to study at Universities, Colleges and private companies.

Mr Derek Hill B.Sc (Sp. Hons), M.Sc, FCII
Derek is currently an acedemic at the Salford Business School (the University of Salford) where he lectures in Financial Management and Supply Chain Optimisation. In addition to his work at the University of Salford, he lectures in the U.S.A, Europe and the Middle and Far East. Derek is currently researching quaility within Higher Educatiuon and the impact of different thinking styles upon eduction. Before joining the University of Salford Derek worked within the manufacturing sector for 11 years where he held several senior positions for both small business and large organisations.

Mr John McGrory
With a postgraduate fellowship award from Cranfield University in modern engineering management techniques John brings a fresh and up to date knowledge of “state of the art” management. John has an extensive background in production engineering, project management and is an enthusiastic IT support manager. John is a highly motivated trainer and mentor with vast knowledge and application of e-teaching and e-learning strategies is capable of teaching one-to-one; group learners and distance learning packages. An active member of the OLC consulting and training team John also works as safety consulting in transport technology.

Mr Des Riley
Health, safety and management courses have been designed, delivered and assessed by Mr Des Riley for over 20 years. He has experience working as a health and safety manager / engineer with many UK blue chip manufacturing companies and in Higher Educational institutions throughout the North West of England. His last 15 years have been spent working as a Health, Safety and Environmental consultant. Des is a qualified assessor for ”City and Guilds” NVQ’s in Occupational Health and Safety and Business Improvement Techniques and licensed to run courses offered by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, including the internationally accepted and recognised Managing Safely certificated course. Des joined the OLC Team in 2005 and has quickly become a key member of the business. He is vice-chairman of the Manchester and Northwest Districts IOSH branch and a regular speaker fort other Northwest Health and Safety Groups. He is committed to excellence development in the fields of health, safety and environmental management. Des is National Examiner for the National Board for Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH). He is currently undertaking a Management PhD with Salford University.

Ms Gloria Bodell FICM
Ms Gloria L. Bodell, FICM, is a graduate member and Fellow of the Institute of Credit Management (ICM) and provides OLC with the training support for finance and accounting for engineers and scientists. Gloria holds the professional Diploma in credit management, awarded by the ICM and has obtained credit achievement awards in five (out of six) subjects at that level. Gloria is currently a post graduate researcher, working toward an MSc degree. Gloria has worked with Dr Chris Bamber and Professor John Sharp for over 5 years, providing support for delivery of any modules and courses that require a knowledge of finance and accounting practices.

Mr Eddie Gould B.Eng, M.Sc
Eddy brings to OLC a wealth of practical experience as an experience engineering projects manager with a background in managing process plant installations, commissioning, maintenance and operational control.
Eddy holds engineering qualifications from The University of Salford that includes bachelor’s degree and a Masters of Science degree in Virtual Environments. Eddy is highly motivated to teach and promote learning and brings advanced learning strategies to OLC holding a postgraduate certificate of education. An inspirational, knowledgeable and professional approach to teaching brings a refreshing dimension to his class room activities.
