If you are resident in certain countries (Libya for example) you will not be able to enter the UK unless you have first been issued with a visa specifically granted for your intended period of stay. There are several types of visas for coming to visit the United Kingdom. They can broadly be categorised as;-
- Student
- Tourist
- Training
- Business
Generally, you must apply to the British Consultate located within your country of residence if you require a visa to visit the UK. In addition to your own application you will be asked to provide a letter of invitation from the company whose course you will attend. Please contact us to discuss obtaining your visa invitation letter. Once you arrive in the UK you might also have to register with the local Police Services. This is standard practice so please do not be alarmed if your visa stipulates that requirment!
