A North West student of OLC (Europe) Ltd (OLC) has been awarded the most prestigious award given annually by the Institute of Credit Management (ICM).
Manchester student, Kris Henriksson of Swedish accounting and finance company Finans AB Marginalen, was presented with the 2009 ICM National Sir Roger Cork award, which rewards the highest achieving student of ICM professional studies across the credit management industry.
Kris studied for his ICM Intermediate (Level 3) course qualifications with OLC, the Organisational Learning Centre, in Greater Manchester. OLC, an ICM Premier Education Centre, run their Credit Management courses at the University of Salford. Course leader Gloria L. Bodell said:
"Kris has literally "wiped the board", receiving an array of awards for his first set of exams. From OLC: the highest class achiever in 2 subjects, from Hays Plc, Specialist Recruitment: the highest overall ICM North West Achiever and of course the prestigious national Sir Roger Cork award from the ICM."
After successfully completing his Intermediate (Level 3) ICM course with OLC, Kris is now in the process of undertaking his Advanced (Level 5) ICM qualification with OLC.
"Through learning from likeminded industry professionals at OLC I have broadened my mind, increased my credit management knowledge and discovered practical skills that I can now apply to daily work life."
Gloria concludes: "In times like these it is vital that we invest in people, like Kris, and build a skilled credit management work force to strengthen customer / supplier relationships and improve confidence throughout the supply chain."
