An Eid ul Fitr Mubarak from Dr Chris
As a college without boundaries and with a vision of continued widening participation, Dr Chris Bamber our MD and Dean of the Organisational Learning Centre would like to wish all our friends a happy Eid ul Fitr which is expected to be on either Tuesday 30th of August or on Wednesday 31st of August. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), taught us to sight the crescent moon (Hilal) which marks the beginning of the month and the start of Eid ul-Fitr. All Muslims follow the Islamic Lunar Calendar to determine such events. May all our Muslim and non-Muslim friends and students join in the celebration and wish for world peace and a wonderful future where there are no boundaries to learning and where education is for all whatever their backgrounds.
Eid Mubarak (Arabic: عيد مبارك, Bengali: ঈদ মোবারক, Persian/Urdu: عید مُبارک) to all our students past, present and future and to all our friends and colleagues throughout the world (August 2011).
