Dr Chris Bamber, Managing Director of OLC has purpose designed and completely fitted out a new Organisation Learning Centre in Libya. The learning centre is situated in the heart of the ancient and beautiful City of Sabratha. This location is strategically placed to the west of Tripoli positioned not too many miles from the Azzawiya Oil Refinery and further to the west are the Cities of Abu-Kammash and Zuwarah. This means it is a good location in Modern Libya and perfectly placed for professional training and education, with a huge business potential to attract local delegates, students and trainees from the Oil, Gas and Petroleum Industry, from Chemical, Large Industrial Plants and also from the active commercial, financial, legal and tourism sectors.
Modern and fully equipped for training and education, the centre is ideal for professionals that need the training experience to be the best. Each training room is fitted with modern teaching and learning facilities, with nearby parking, local amenities, and hotels with shopping close to hand. Dr Chris Bamber said: "This new venture, now presents a great opportunity for OLC courses to be delivered in Libya, to one of our strategically key geographical marketplaces. We intend to fully open the centre in September 2010 with many promotional events currently taking place. It is fully operational and we are actively promoting the facilities as we speak."
Important courses this year; will cover the topics of English Language; Leadership and Management; Project Management; Fire Safety; Management Systems; IT and Communications; and Preparatory Studies for UK Courses. This is not an comprehensive list and if you are a manager or you work in Human Resource Development and are interested in developing your staff then do not hesitate to discuss your needs with any of the staff at OLC Libya Branch or in the UK with any of our staff there.
