David Thompson

The course leader for maintenance related courses is David Thompson who has over 30 years of industrial maintenance and reliability experience. His last 10 years have been spent in the oil and gas industry including 3 years in Libya with the GMRP and Eni Oil. Mr Thompson as the ReliaSoft partner uses a suite of Reliability software analysis tools to support Reliability Engineering training, ReliaSoft are world leaders in the provision of Reliability Software and Training.

Mr Thompson has conducted similar training courses throughout the UK, USA, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Brazil and Norway. Mr Thompson' other areas of expertise are auditing maintenance against Best Practice, optimizing spares, implementation of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and other maintenance management systems.

David ensures that EETTEC maintenance engineering courses are current and practically oriented thus providing relevance to all trainees at the centre. David runs his own active maintenance and reliability consultancy fulltime and is a part time trainer for EETTEC.
