Four workshops were held each one focusing on a specific an important aspect of social media, including: Blogging, Twitter, Digital Media, and LinkedIn. Each gave both Ashley and Jonathan a wealth of great ideas for building up OLC’s online presence, including a brand new Blogging strategy coming from the New Year and a focused LinkedIn presence for all staff.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Later in the afternoon two further speakers were introduced. Debbie Sheringham, head of Social Media for BBC Radio 4 gave her talk on Sounding Human on Social Media. Engaging and inspiring, this talk covered strategies for writing on social media in a way that suits each platform’s personality, and the personality of a company – people want to people, not robots![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”4″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Lastly, International Sales Trainer Andy Preston married sales and marketing together with social media, and theorised breaking down of traditional selling methods; with a myriad of reviewing platforms and social media discussions on products, consumer’s minds are already made up. For OLC, our presence online is about to come truly alive as we engage with all those we greet.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
