Overview – HND in Health and Social Care
The Higher National Diploma (HND) takes place over two years. On HND in Health and Social Care you will study 16 topics focused on best practice in the industry, expertly created in order to increase your skills, confidence and teamwork. These units are in line with UK University Degrees, so students can progress into employment in the Health and Social Care sector or move on to a higher qualification.
About the Course
The HND is a Level 5 qualification, equal to the second year of a Bachelor Degree. Over two years you will study a wide range of subjects, including 200 hours of work placement. The Organisational Learning Centre runs the HND in Health and Social Care in partnership with Sunderland College, and students on the course benefit by being full students of Sunderland College.
